A fragment of red emerges from the sand, partially concealed, partially revealed. It does not present itself fully — it hints, withdraws, and persists at the edge of perception.

Here, red is neither suspended nor advancing. It is embedded. Present without declaring itself, visible without offering access.

The image is less about the animal than about what remains perceptible: a trace, a signal, a presence that can be seen but not fully grasped.
